What is Ceremide?

A ceramide is composed of sphingosine and a fatty acid. Ceramides are found in high concentrations within the cell membrane

of eukaryotic cells, since they are component lipids that make up sphingomyelin, one of the major lipids in the lipid bilayer.

Why did we choose Konjac Ceremide?

China has been cultivating and using konjac as early as 3,000 years ago and has rich konjac resourcesin southern provinces

and other places. Konjac is rich in glycosides, such as glucomannan, mannan, D-glucoside, Sphingosomal lipids, etc.

Phytoceramide has advantages that natural and safe synthetic ceramides do not have. The Phytoceramide on the market are

extracted from rice bran, konjac flying powder, pineapple leaves, eucalyptusleaves, and other plants. Among them, the content

of ceramide in konjac flour is the highest, reaching 0.15%-0.2%. It is more than ten times that of other plant materials.

What do ceramides do for your skin?

Ceramides are lipids that help form the skin's barrier and help skin retain moisture. Since they are lipids and water-resistant, ceramides help

act like a sealant between cells and on top of the skin, Ceramides also help the skin protect against environmental aggressors like irritants,

and pollution. Without the proper ratio of ceramides, the skin's barrier can become compromised, leading to dryness, itching and irritation.
